GPRS Technology

GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service, a technology that allows mobile data streaming. GPRS is a packet-based wireless communication service that promises data rates from 56 up to 114 Kbps and continuous connection to the Internet for mobile phone and computer users. GRPS is rapidly becoming a global standard for sending and receiving high-speed data across the GSM network.

GPRS users will also benefit from being able to use GPRS while travelling, as GPRS can be found in mobile devices, such as mobile phones.
