WhizSerial-to-Wi-Fi Bridge is a secure embedded Serial to WLAN module that connects systems running M2M applications to 802.11b/g/n wireless LANs and secures data from network attacks. The solution allows your system to go wireless in no time. The module allows industrial users, home/building automation users to Wi-Fi enable non-PC devices without the need for major re-programming of the application. The module enables your already deployed systems or new systems to connect with the IP network. The module can be easily upgraded to meet next generation IP networks without any change of interfacing with your system. The solution offloads the host from the implementation of Wi-Fi protocol, security algorithms, TCP/IP communication protocol and UART multiplexing providing a simple to use AT Command interface. Features: AT command interface to configure once. Data send/receive over UART will be IP wrapped and sent over Wi-Fi. M2M devices will not need to change firmware/software in this configuration. Multiple UART ports can be connected to one adaptor to save cost on bridge; providing a real low cost solution to connect multiple serial equipments using one adaptor. Small form factor allows to put it inside existing machine or outside as an adaptor. It only needs 3.3V power supply for operation. No firmware to program. Get everything ready to go with all design files provided to integrate solution on board. Very low cost solution for small, medium or high volume applications.
