The barcode reader of Wireless Music Sampling System reads the barcode on the CD, then sends the information to the Access Point via a WiFi link. This information is then retransmitted via an Ethernet connection to the local or distant server that hosts the music database. The relevant play list is then provisioned and streamed from the Access Point to the system.
